Bobby Lawrence is the founder and Executive Director of Anchor Ministries, Inc., based in Cartersville, Georgia. A native of Kathleen, Georgia, Bobby comes from a strong Christian lineage that includes the notable revivalist Jonathan Edwards and evangelist Sam Jones. His ministry journey began with a calling to serve as both a pastor and evangelist, focusing on reaching people in Cartersville and the broader Bartow County area.
In 2006, he established Anchor Ministries with the mission of bringing people from different Christian backgrounds together to share and experience the love of Jesus in tangible ways. Through community events and gatherings, Bobby and his wife, Megan, actively work to spread hope and renewal, leading many to strengthen or recommit to their faith. Anchor Ministries also broadcasts "Anchor TV," a program on Atlanta’s WATC Channel 57.2, featuring inspirational interviews and stories that highlight faith-based victories and challenges.
